Cutting Taxes & Making Life More Affordable
Mark supported $422 million in tax relief, including $325 million to reduce South Carolina’s income tax rate to 5.21% and additional property tax relief for eligible senior homeowners.

Mark has backed investments in law enforcement and first responders while supporting efforts to give them the resources they need to keep our communities safe.
SUPPORTING TEACHERS & STUDENTS
Mark helped pass a state budget that raised South Carolina’s starting teacher salary to $50,500, invested in school safety, and provided additional resources for classrooms and students.
